FullHost offers two types of cloudlets:
Reserved Cloudlets are for developers who want to reserve in advance. You’ll be charged a set price regardless of your resource usage. However, reserving the Cloudlets involves a significant discount based on the number of Cloudlets reserved.
Dynamic Cloudlets involves paying on your actual resource usage. These cloudlets are added or removed automatically based on the resources needed by your application.
Because of the granularity, you can allocate resources based on your needs and budgets while ensuring the foundation to scale as needed.
FullHost.Cloud helps your hosting be flexible and hassle free with automatic vertical and horizontal scaling.
Automatic vertical scaling involves adding the right amount of RAM and CPU inside a node/container when the load grows. On the flip side, this mode releases resources back if/when they are no longer needed.
Set up is simple! You only need to open the environment topology wizard from your dashboard and specify the Scaling Limit of cloudlets plus the maximum number of resources available for each node. After set up, additional provisioning will be automatically performed based on the load size.
After vertical scaling is integrated, easily configure the number of nodes in a single layer through horizontal scaling. This is achieved through the environment topology wizard using “-” and “+” buttons.
Configure automatic horizontal scaling through turnable triggers by going to Settings > Monitoring > Auto Horizontal Scaling. Set the auto-scaling for a required node and resource. You can also set up conditions and email notifications to stay on top of any changes. After a few simple clicks, we’ll do the rest automatically.
